Scrappin' and Stampin' 101- Our "Tool Box"

You know how it goes.  You have every intention of completing a specific project.  Truly, you intend to. But the time comes, you sit at your workspace and lo and behold, you don't have all the necessary tools to begin or complete your project.

The same is true for any scrapbooker/stamper.  You have to have the right tools to get the job done!

So, what are the "tools" that any scrapbooker/stamper must be sure to have on hand at all times? Here is a great list to get you started.

  • a pair of good quality scissors
  • an adhesive- actually you will find that you prefer to keep several various kinds on hand depending on the job.  I always keep adhesive pop dots, glue sticks and photo tape squares on hand for any project I have in mind.
  • a paper trimmer- this is an absolute must.  It's very difficult to trim papers down with just a pair of scissors, let alone cut them to the size your idea books call for.
  • some sort of journaling pen(s) or markers
These are items that you will ALWAYS need whether you are crafting at home, attending a crop, etc.  You will also need them to complete any of the Workshops on the Go projects that you purchase from Close to My Heart.

If you don't have these basic tools, you can order them from me.  Just click on the link to the right of my page that says Close to My Heart Independent Consultant which will take you to my e-commerce site and you can place orders for these items or any other products you just have to have.
